Common Questions (Pricing & Plans)

What counts as one manuscript reading?

One PDF or DOCX, up to 70,000 words, counts as one reading. You get all 11 report sections every time. Resubmitting a revised version counts as a new reading.

Do unused monthly readings roll over?

No. Your monthly reading allowance resets at the start of each billing period, and unused readings do not carry over. If you need additional readings, you can purchase one-time readings separately.

What if I need more readings than my plan includes?

You can purchase additional readings at any time without changing your subscription. One-time options are available for 1, 3, or 10 readings.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Yes. You can switch between Starter, Professional, and Advanced plans from your account. Changes are handled through your subscription billing.

Is there a low-cost way to try Clasr first?

Yes. You can purchase a single full manuscript reading for $32 with no subscription required.

Is there a contract or long-term commitment?

No for individual subscriptions. You can cancel anytime and keep access through the billing period you’ve already paid for. Enterprise terms are defined separately in each agreement.

What payment methods are accepted?

How are taxes handled?

Taxes are included in the prices shown. No additional tax will be added at checkout.

Are there discounts for students or developing regions?

There is no separate student discount at the moment. One-time readings are available without a subscription. For institutional pricing in developing regions, contact hello@clasr.ai.
